چکیده

We present the results of a large multi-wavelength follow-up campaign Tidal Disruption Event (TDE) \dsg, focusing on low to high resolution optical spectroscopy, X-ray, and radio observations. The galaxy hosts super massive black hole mass $\rm (5.4\pm3.2)\times10^6\,M_\odot$ careful analysis finds no evidence for presence an Active Galactic Nucleus, instead TDE host shows narrow emission lines that likely arise from star formation activity. transient is luminous in X-rays, radio, UV optical. X-ray becomes undetected after $\sim$125 days, luminosity density starts decay at frequencies above 5.4 GHz by $\sim$180 days. Optical line signatures are up $\sim$250 days discovery transient. medium spectra show traces absorption we propose originate self-gravitating debris streams. At late times, $\sim$200 Fe appear spectra. was previously classified as N-strong, but subtraction galaxy's stellar contribution, find these N spectrum, even though O Bowen detected. observed properties fully consistent with detection inner regions cooling accretion disc. this central engine seen inclination (i.e., poles).

Evolution of Thick Accretion Disks Produced by Tidal Disruption Events

Geometrically thick disks may form after tidal disruption events, and rapid accretion may lead to short flares followed by long-term, lower-level emission. Using a novel accretion disk code which relies primarily on global conservation laws and the assumption that viscosity is everywhere positive, a broad range of physically allowed evolutionary sequences of thick disks is investigated. The mai...

Narrow absorption lines induced by electron shelving

We investigate the absorption spectrum of a laser driven V system in which one of the upper levels is metastable. If the Rabi frequency of the laser driving the metastable transition is suuciently small we nd an extremely narrow peak in the stationary absorption spectrum of a weak probe on the strong transition. We give analytical expressions approximating the stationary absorption spectrum. Th...

RX J 1420 . 4 + 5334 – another tidal disruption event ? ?

We have discovered a transient X-ray source, RX J1420.4+5334, which displays a ROSAT flux variation of > ∼ 150 between the ROSAT All-Sky-Survey in 1990 and a preceding pointed ROSAT observations in July 1990. Optical observations suggest a non-active galaxy as the only visible counterpart. We therefore tentatively identify RX J1420.4+5334 as a tidal disruption event in a non-active galaxy.

Accretion disc - corona and jet emission from the radio - loud Narrow Line Seyfert

We perform X-ray/UV spectral and X-ray variability studies of the radio-loud Narrow Line Seyfert 1 (NLS1) galaxy RXJ1633.3+4719 using XMM-Newton and Suzaku observations from 2011 and 2012. The 0.3−10 keV spectra consist of an ultra-soft component described by an accretion disc blackbody (kTin = 39.6 +11.2 −5.5 eV) and a power-law due to the thermal Comptonization (Γ = 1.96 −0.31) of the disc em...

Detection of Absorption Features in the X-ray Spectrum of the Narrow-line Quasar Pg 1404+226: Possible Evidence for Accretion Disc Winds

We present the results of an analysis of data from XMM-Newton and CHANDRA observations of the high luminosity narrow-line quasar PG 1404+226. We confirm a strong soft X-ray excess in the X-ray spectrum and we find rapid variability (a factor of two in about 5000 s) in both XMMNewton and CHANDRA data. When the X-ray spectrum is fit with a two component model which includes a power-law (Γ ∼ 1.6) ...
